Kuhtay Likes Stuff

I picked up Okamiden and Zelda OOT yesterday with it. I haven’t played Okamiden but Zelda is.. interesting. I’d like to say I know Ocarina pretty well. There are differences between the 3DS and the N64 versions of course but I’ll get to that.

My eyes cannot stand looking at the game in 3D for very long. While it’s kind of cool, the headache I had wracked up by the time Navi made it to Link’s house to wake him up, well, was a little off putting.

The first Gossip Stone I saw was odd. I couldn’t hit it and have it tell me the time. I thought that was bizarre but I was willing to keep going. It was around this time I turned off the 3D.

Going through the Deku Tree was alright. Gohma was no issue.

A cool thing with the 3DS is that when you “Up-C” to look around, you can physically move the handheld to look around. It’s also pretty handy for some fine tuning in your aiming with the sling shot.

Back to the game. The Deku tree gave me his dying speech… andthentold me to go to the Gossip Stones if I was stuck.

What? Why? Well that weird one by Link’s house.. turned out I could crawl inside and watchHint Videos.It kind of. Bothered me. Kind of.

But whatever man I had a PRINCESS to see! So off I went.

And eventually I had to play my first Ocarina song.

Ah? What does this mean? I don’t.. uh. Ok so A = ^ C; X = <-C; Y = -> C; R = V C; and L = A

So my buttons are all off whenever I try to play a song. Completely understandable but why not made x  ^C  a >c  etc?

But I’m forging on. I’ve made it to Dondongo’s Cavern and we’ll see where I go from there
